Rain held off all day despite the cloudy skies. Seven cars met at Samlesbury Hotel, Preston for a 09:00 departure via the A59 to Pateley Bridge, where we met up with other club cars, for the Northern National organised by Harrogate MG & Classic Car Club. The event was well organised and we had our own parking area, there were numerous foor outlets, trade stalls and a brass band to keep us entertained.
